Jonathan’s big moment

As requested at this week’s meeting, here’s the link to Jonathan’s big night.  Hilary’s husband won a charity auction and got to sing a song of his choice on stage with David Ford (the guy in the hat).  The other guitarist came second in the auction and accepted J’s invitation to join in.

The song is ‘Distant Sun’ by Crowded House. All parties having concluded that the high notes in ‘Fall at your feet’ were, erm, unrealistic.

The venue was in Shepherd’s Bush and there were about 350 people in the audience.  Mr Ford raises at lot of money at his annual Milk & Cookie’s concerts.  The London gig’s proceeds went to a children’s charity in Shepherd’s Bush and a mental health charity in, I think, Islington or may be Camden.
