Half price!

Sue’s chosen a Sainsburys bargain: The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer. A first novel and judging by the short biography on Amazon, an interesting writer. The public library has an audio CD but the print copies all have lots of reservations on them.

On the subject of audiobooks, have you tried the OneClick service from the library? It lets you download audio books onto your smartphone or any web-connected device for free. My favourite price. A disproportionate number are read by the actress who plays Linda Snell in The Archers but – thankfully – she doesn’t use the same voice. The categorisation on the website are a bit wayward but there’s some great stuff on there: everything from Orwell to James Lee Burke with lots of non-fiction too. The website is here: http://bedfordshire.oneclickdigital.eu/Help/Support.aspx and phone app is called ‘OneClick’.
